A Note on This Beer
Belgian Sour, New England Style IPA, Texas Toasted Marshmallow Stout.
Okay, that last one is made up, but the first two are prime examples of how a regional beer style has the power to etch an everlasting image into the entire craft scene. And the next local genre stamping its name onto the beer map is the Florida Weisse.
The Sunshine State took the Berliner Weisse, one of the most refreshingly tart styles in existence, and over-fruited the heck out of it until it became a Sour Ale Smoothie. They stuffed it full of sweet and tangy passionfruit purée until it was so juicy, it would satisfy Floridians accustomed to picking fresh fruit from their backyards!
The creative minds at Untitled Art wanted to pay homage to the Florida Weisse with today’s beer named after the style.
We just got a taste, and while we won’t say they overdid it, we will say that it’s brimming with so much exotic fruit flavor, it leaves a taste of the tropics on your tongue long after your last sip.
Snag one from our tiny stash today and get a true Florida experience, minus the mile-long Harry Potter World lines and gator wrestling, of course.
