A Note on This Beer
If you haven’t managed to snag a taste from Washington’s YaYa Brewing yet, there’s no better place to start than Fluffy Puffy Sunshine IPA. Here’s a short list of reasons to snag a can.
- It’s got all the Sun-shiniest Hops! The brewers hopped this sunbeam of a brew with what they call “a sh*tload” of tangerine-flavored Citra and tropically fruity El Dorado Hops. A massive dose of flaked oats make the mouthfeel softer than a baby bunny.
- Your fellow Tavour members love YaYa Hazies! We’ve scored juicebombs from this crew just 5 times, and those beers hold an average Tavour score of 4.11. That’s quite a feat — you all are a much tougher audience than the folks on Untappd.
- They’re Juicy Brew Experts! Brothers and co-founders, Chris and Jason Gass, learned from some of the best in the game. Jason worked at Maine’s beloved Austin Street Brewing, and while developing their hop skills, Chris and Jason got to bounce ideas off their friends at Foundation, Battery Steel, and Bissel Brothers.
- These Brews are Always Exclusive! YaYa beers almost never leave Spokane, let alone cross state lines. This time around, we’ve got just 10 cases of Fluffy Puffy Sunshine for all of Tavour!
Today, you have a chance to sample this brewery’s skills before any of your buddies have even heard of YaYa. That is, if you’re fast enough.

Good, but not a favorite that I’d go back for more. Very typical beer, I normally like them a bit more fruity.

If you could drink the sun it would taste like this! Very good juicy, NEIPA. Can definitely taste the Austin Street and Bissell Brothers influences (two of our fave Portland, ME breweries).

Daily Corona battle. Just another day edition. First Yaya I’ve had and it’s terrific. Juicy, super soft, orangy delight. Low bitterness but plenty of flavor. Crushable and refreshing.
