Cool gimmick but the flavor is awful because of it. Tastes ashy and dry. Its so weird. At least they tried!

Ambers Hoppy Friend

Taste was fine, nothing special. The color was a sludgey green, not dark, and pretty off putting.

Mind twisty but good.

The color on the pour is quite interesting when you see the beer you are about to drink is a dark algae green. The taste is okay. It’s a fairly regular IPA that doesn’t have much distinguishing character.

Decent ipa but color messes with you for sure

Most interesting beer color ever! Everything else about it could be termed mild. Just plain mild. But the color is a definite conversation topic!!

I really liked this beer. From the surprise on the pour to the fabulous finish it was very enjoyable. I wish I had another.

loved the idea of this beer but just not for me

Definitely a shocker on pour, but flavor was fantastic: creamy and malty, light fruity character, with a subtle tropical bend that comes on stronger in the finish.

The color does indeed provide a clever ruse. The citra provides a true IPA punch, then fades to a hint of sweetness on the finish from the grape skins used to trick you. Nicely balanced throughout.

Kinda disappointed. Just gimmicky. Tastes like an IPA and it’s a fine IPA. But the color is just weird. It doesn’t look like a dark beer like I was hoping. It doesn’t look like a stout or a porter or a dark lager. It looks like a hazy IPA that someone added food coloring too. It’s blueish/grey.

Looks gross but actually drinks pretty good. I get what they are doing here, 2Toms Foolery. Funny
