Remember that lion from The Wizard of Oz? Turns out he didn’t need to go all the way to The Emerald City to find some hokey wizard. All he had to do was head up to Bellingham, Washington, stop by Structures Brewing, and grab himself a pint of today’s crushable Brown Ale.

The hints of baker’s chocolate and fresh espresso in this malty brew are bound to keep you feeling gallant! It’s like an iced mocha, but with smooth carbonation and a 5.2% ABV.

Forgot how much I liked brown ales after this one. Very smooth with almost no bitterness. Coffee and toffee abound.

Nice roasty malts give a chocolate note at the start. Slight caramel gives some sweetness. Very drinkable.
