A Note on This Beer
Fresca means "fresh" in Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian. But, for beer geeks in the Northwest, it means a fresh batch of a taproom-favorite Pilsner from the GABF Gold medalists at Block 15.
The brewery crafts their crisp, hoppy, Fresca Pils with Italian Eraclea Pilsner Malts and generous amounts of European Styrian Hops. This choice ingredient combo lends zippy notes of lemon and orange citrus, strawberries, and fresh-cut grass. To put it simply: this beer tastes like summertime!
A brew this complex and crushable will make you think twice about drinking a flavorless Pilsner ever again.
*To enjoy at its most dynamic, the brewery encourages you to drink this Pils fresh!

Unfortunately, my dad went through my beer fridge and I didn't get to try this one. Middle of the road for now until I see it again.

So good! Just a clear crisp hoppy Pilsner. If it weren’t for the can I wouldn’t have guessed it was an “Italian” Pilsner because this is shades apart from your Olive Garden Peroni (no offense and all love for O.G. and Peroni), but I humored the designation and paired with a vegan sausage and ravioli dish and it was perfect. Great warm weather drinker.
