The Hops: Hubbard’s Cave loaded it with Citra, Citra, and more Citra Hops! It’s a hoppy hazebomb that reveals all the lush nuances of this surprisingly multifaceted hop.

The Taste: Citra often brings waves of OJ and grapefruit to a brew. But here, with no other hops to get in the way, each mouthful is a juicy tapestry of bright tangerine, zesty lime, and, yes, fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit flavors. Whispers of guava, mango, and lychee fruit round out the citrus. 

The Truth: Remember how I said it’s been over a year since we last got a stash of One Hop Citra? That’s because, while Hubbard’s Cave is renowned for their Fresh IIPA series, they only brew this single hop Citra version about once a year, sometimes less. And craft fans snatch it up quick!
