A Note on This Beer
Anytime I stayed overnight at Grandma’s as a kid, she'd wake me up with the smell of freshly-baked blueberry muffins — once it tickled my nose, I'd run into the kitchen in my PJs to snag a steaming hot one straight from the oven!
Sorry, Granny, but today I'm waking up to a NEW batch of blueberry muffin magnificence. And it’s all thanks to the GABF Gold Medalists at Gun Hill and the New York Craft Beer Competition award-winning brewers at Destination Unknown!
Because they packed today’s Fresh Out the Oven Pastry Stout with 100 pounds of berries AND black currants per barrel!
This colossal addition of fruit results in a smooth-sipping Stout brimming with bakery-fresh aromas, tart berry flavors, and pastry-like sweetness in every mouthful. Grandma’s muffins were good, but they definitely don’t come close to this delightful adults-only 8.3% ABV buzz!
Today’s sweet treat is the perfect brew to bring to that Halloween block party you have coming up. It’s a get-out-of-cooking-free card that’s sure to steal the spotlight away from any other homemade dessert. And you barely have to lift a finger to get it ready!
Pour the dark nectar into a glass and marvel in its intoxicating smells of ripe blueberries and tart black currants. Indulge your palate in a sip and let the sweet berry notes crumble like the raw sugar sprinkled on top of a muffin, leading you in for a rich, jammy finish.
Getting your hands on this small-batch sipper isn’t as easy as rolling out of bed and stumbling into the kitchen in your PJs — cans of these liquid muffins are only available in Destination Unknown’s taproom.
Luckily, we happened to snag a baker’s dozen out of New York so we can share this collab with our members. These fresh-baked goodies are bound to go quick, so take a piece of advice from my grandma and get ‘em while they’re hot!
