Remember Fruit Stripes Gum?

I sure as heck do! As a kid, I’d crush an entire pack in a single afternoon. 

Needless to say, my inner 12-year-old had a field day as soon as we got a hold of Magnify Brewing’s Fruit Stripes inspired Froot Stripez Kettle Sour. Although, this nectarous brew should probably be savored — not crushed! 

Because, while today’s beer doesn’t come with temporary tattoos like its fruity inspiration, it does come with an 8% ABV. 

Totally trumps the tattoos, right? You know what’s even better? To craft Froot Stripe, the brewers conditioned their Sour Ale base on “well over one thousand pounds of strawberries and raspberries” alongside “PLENTY of Madagascar vanilla.”

Each tantalisingly tart taste bursts with bright red berry juice, rounded out by a sweet sweep of vanilla whipped cream. It’s about as close to the childhood treat as you could get, with an added twist of creamy complexity! 

So, fellow Fruit Stripes lovers, beware! As soon as you get a taste, you’re probably going to want to gulp down the entire stash in one sitting. Which you could do. As long as your day’s ‘to-do’ list is fairly short!
