As a kid, I freakin’ loved chocolate milk.
Actually, what I really loved was the chocolate syrup. Because every time my mom mixed me up a glass of that sweet liquid, I would sneak back into the kitchen and pour myself an extra-obscene helping of Hershey’s.
Which is why I’m absolutely giddy for today’s limited-edition Fudgesicle Imperial Stout, crafted with what Untitled Art co-founder Isaac Showaki calls “a historic amount of Hershey’s Syrup” in every barrel.
Seriously. One taste of this 4.22 UT rated can of decadence and you’ll think you’ve died and gone to liquified chocolate heaven!
Aromas of rich chocolate syrup and toasted malt burst from the can as soon as you pop the top. Flavors of dark chocolate ganache and fudgy brownie batter swirl around layers of chewy caramel and sweet molasses. Notes of chocolate-covered espresso beans mingle with hints of creamy vanilla, making the bold 12% ABV almost unrecognizable.
Is your mouth-watering yet? Then before you do anything else, grab yourself a small stash of Fudgesicle.
Because the only cans left in the entire beerverse are from the less than 50 cases I snuck out of Wisconsin. And I’ll bet there are quite a few fudge fiends who aren’t gonna let this boozy liquified brownie hang around for long.
