About This Beer
An impressive 99% of the ingredients Fonta Flora used for Batch #9 are locally sourced. The wort features their own well water, burlap-aged hops, and barley and raw wheat grown nearby. Over the course of about 14 months, they fermented the brew with local yeasts and microflora, aged it in American oak foeders, rested it on mountains of juicy local peaches, aged it for a second time in oak barrels, and finally bottle conditioned it.
Tasting Notes
FF describes each sip as “an intensely peachy fruit explosion.” We expect tangy peach skin nuances woven together with hints of hay, leather, and sun-ripened orchard fruit. And since it ought to finish crisp and extra dry, this beauty will be a breeze to pair with some cheeses for happy hour or grilled chicken and asparagus for a nice meal outdoors.
