A Note on This Beer
It’s in the Name: The brewers used a massive pile of Nelson, Amarillo, and Strata hops to crank this hazy up. Fuzzy Flavors: Flavors of dank melon and ripe pineapple gush from every drop, alongside ruby red grapefruit and hints of resinous pine.
The last time Structures Brewing made a version of their Fuzz IPA with Strata Hops, it scored an eye-popping 4.34 on Untappd! In fact, the series holds an average score of 4.18.
That’s insane! Maintaining that level of quality over so many hoppy brews goes to show how skilled these brewers really are. No wonder Seattle hazeheads are willing to drive over an hour and a half up to little Bellingham, Washington for a taste of this stuff!
When they announced the release of today’s Fuzz (Nelson, Amarillo, Strata), crafty Canadians took to the brewery’s social media to beg for shipments to British Columbia. They left empty handed. As did plenty of locals who tried to score a sip — this dank and tropical brew sold out at the taproom in less than a day!
And, unlike our unfortunate neighbors to the north, you can actually get a can. In fact, you lucky Tavour members are the ONLY people who can still get a taste of this brew! Our little stash is all that’s left.
