About This Beer
Made with Galaxy Hops, coriander, peppercorns, and kumquats then fermented with Brettanomyces and Wit yeast in Missouri oak, this White IPA expertly combines an innovative take on a summertime Wheat Beer with the hoppy bite of a well-crafted Hazy. They even followed up with a double dry hopping of even more Galaxy for extra juiciness!
Tasting Notes
The sip starts out fruit-forward and tangy, with tropical pineapple, lychee, and kumquat notes bursting onto the palate. Underneath, a subtle barnyard funk mingles with a hint of spice and woody nuances. A layered herbaceousness rounds out the back end, creating a complex and refreshing finish.

I don’t think this one survived the trip. tasted way more sour than it should have.

a low rating for a beer from anchorage. there is a bitterness to me that I think is either from the kumquat or peppercorns. really overwhelms the tropical flavors for me. not bad but not great.

Botanical, nearly floral bouquet with a citrusy aroma. Peppery farmhouse ale with tart, zesty notes of citrus. Oaky finish.

Wheat white IPA with Indian coriander, black peppercorns, fresh kumquats, and Galaxy hops that steal the show with their overpowering aroma and citrus flavor.

Definitely has a "wild" fermented flavor. Dry, hoppy, not funky or sour like a Brett beer. Very interesting
