Well put, Colin Hubbel of Southern Kitchen. North Carolina’s craft scene has exploded over the past several years, but Burial is one name I keep reaching for in the sea of hopbombs. And, after getting a taste of their latest Double IPA, I’m glad I do! 

Gang of Blades is a true example of Burial’s mastery. Using no gimmicks or crazy endeavors, these brewers selected hops, hops, more hops! 

For bold pine and drippy tropical fruit flavors, the brewers used a collage of Citra, El Dorado, Idaho 7, and Centennial Hops. Then, they dosed their creation with extra-potent Incognito and Cryo versions of those hops and fermented it on their house yeast to seal in the flavorful intensity.

Gang of Blades is 8.3% ABV. It’s quenching, resinous, and delectably hop-forward. AND, it’s from Burial Beer Co. ‘Nuff said.
