A Note on This Beer
Peach rings are some of my all-time favorite candies — as a kid, I would make my parents buy a grocery bag full for every road trip we went on.
Nowadays, I’m a little too grown up to be chewing gummies in the backseat of my parents’ station wagon. But thanks to the saints of peaches at Speciation Artisan Ales, I’m doing just fine!
These Midwestern Wild Ale Masters are one of Forbes’ Top 10 Breweries in Michigan, and lucky for me, they love brewing up tart n’ juicy, peach-packed treats.
They’re really good at it too — their Genetic Drift with Peaches earned a Silver Medal at the last World Beer Cup! This is the hardest, most prestigious beer competition in the world, and less than 4% of entries (from all across the globe) receive any award at all.
But, loaded up with a whopping 4.5 lbs of peaches per barrel and standing out above the rest was today’s peachy-keen Farmhouse Saison!
The best part though? You don’t have to road trip to Michigan in your parents’ station wagon to dig into this lip-smacky peach candy. ‘Cause you’re ridin’ with Tavour.
