About This Beer
For their take on the seriously historic libation, the Cali mixologists aged a Seltzer base in bourbon barrels, imbuing the brew with nuances of vanilla oak. Then they layered it with pineapple, lemon, sugar, and spices before giving it a kiss of lactose sugar to replicate the cocktail’s creamy body.
Tasting Notes
Every velvety quaff should taste like a luxurious pineapple crème brûlée, with sweet tropical tones swirling throughout notes of silky custard, whiskey caramel, and burnt sugar. Hints of cinnamon and nutmeg ought to blend gorgeously with a touch of woody spice on the end all while hiding a warming 12% ABV.

Fascinating milk-punch-as-"beer" cocktail in a bottle. When cold, flavor is primarily nutmeg and spices over a rum milk punch (this is actually bourbon barrel aged, but doesn't taste like bourbon as much as rum to me). Pineapple comes through faintly on the tail.
As it warms, becomes much more fruit-forward, with heavy pineapple and some lemon, and spices still present but fading back.
While the mouthfeel is completely different than a true milk punch, the flavor is a startling facsimile. Unlike anything I've ever drunk.
