About This Beer
Bryan Shull and his two sons initially opened Trap Door in 2015 simply because they loved beer.
Four years later, this tiny 15 bbl brewery would go on to win a whopping four medals at the 2019 Washington Beer Awards — including GOLD in the highly-competitive Hazy category for Glowed Up NEIPA!
It remains a fan favorite — and, like the brewery itself, it’s only increased in popularity with time! Which, considering the craft-scene’s ever growing hordes of thirsty hopheads, and the 6lbs per barrel of Amarillow, Citra, and Simcoe Hops the TD crew stuffed into every batch, makes total sense to us.
Tasting Notes
Take a soft sip, and nuances of drippy peach, tangerine, and grapefruit pith parade across the palate. Pine resin balances the fruitiness for a mildly bitter finish alongside a pillowy-soft mouthfeel from wheat and oats.
