About This Beer
The brewers started with a rich, bourbon barrel aged base, then conditioned it on actual cake batter and coconut. Unsatisfied, they added even more coconut and toasted almonds to accentuate the fudgy flavors from the malts.
Altogether, they used nearly a full pound of adjuncts for every 500ml bottle!
Tasting Notes
Not surprisingly, you’ll find rich nutty flavors and nuances of freshly baked cake inundating every drop. It’s like some kind of artisanal Almond Joy, but with a massive 12.5% ABV.
