About This Beer
Roselle hibiscus is responsible for the earthy-floral aroma and gorgeous ruby hue of today’s sipper from the GABF medal winning brewers at Cascade. They began with a Sour Ale base that spent 10 months in oak, then infused it with the flowers, complementing them with Meyer lemon zest, coriander, and Oregon coast sea salt.
Tasting Notes
Gose Roselle blooms brightly, with vibrant citrus, hibiscus, and subtle spice filling each balanced sip. Salt like a sea breeze wafts through the gentle nuances of oak and adjuncts in this complex herbal refresher.

absolutely delicious. Smooth, sour and just perfect. This beer reminds me of the first sour I ever tried. I wish there was more like this one.

Botanical aroma of hibiscus and lemon. Lemon is dominant, with aromatic hibiscus flavors, finishing with peppery notes of coriander. Salt would have been a nice additional layer of flavor, but there’s not much to speak of. Tart, dry, and highly refreshing. Flavorful but lacking the depth expected of a barrel-aged ale.
