A Note on This Beer
When Denver Beer Co. first opened their doors in 2011, the brewers said they’d never craft the same beer twice. But then, Graham Cracker Porter hit the taps.
Love at first pour, this smooth-sipping, cinnamon-dusted Teddy Graham Porter captivated the hearts and taste buds of all who tried it. When the kegs ran dry, fans got fired up and demanded MORE.
Years after that first keg, the GC Porter is one of only two beers Denver Beer Co. conceded to brew more than once to satisfy its devoted admirers.
And while reuniting craft lovers with a can of their favorite pour is rewarding, winning a 2018 GABF Gold in the Speciality Beer Category was the perfectly toasted marshmallow on top of this liquid graham crackers’ legacy.
Victory never tasted so cracker-lackin’ good.
With aromas of warm gingerbread and vanilla bean ice cream, Graham Cracker Porter bounds across the palate with notes of cocoa-dusted almonds, toasted chicory, and cinnamon sugar. Relax, this beer won’t overwhelm you with sweetness -- its medium body, 5.6% ABV, and semi-dry finish keeps it approachable.
So go ahead; put on a flannel, start a toasty campfire, and crack open a can of the brew that took Denver locals on their favorite drinkable adventure.
