Barrel of Monks has three rules for this small-batch sipper: 

1. A unique recipe. They haven’t made it before, and they won’t make it again. Last year, they brewed an Imperial Red Ale, and the year before that, a Belgian Style Golden Ale. And, THIS year’s Grand Cru 2020 is an Imperial Saison that sips down so smooth, you’ll think they misprinted the 10.5% ABV on the bottle!  
2. Rich in flavor. Barrel of Monks packs Grand Cru 2020 with a blend of German Malts for fresh-baked bread aromas and a thick mouthfeel. Magnum and Citra Hops combined with Belgian yeast make each sip dance with coriander and nutmeg spices and delightful hints of Bananas Foster and vanilla beans. 
3. No adjuncts, flavorings, or additives of any kind! Barrel of Monks embraces the natural, full-bodied flavors of Belgian-style beer. In today’s Saison, less is so much more!
