About This Beer
The Barrel of Monks team combined a carefully chosen malt bill with their favorite yeast strain to produce a robustly flavored Belgian-inspired Scotch Ale over the course of a long maturation process.
Tasting Notes
When its Belgian esters mingle with the malty raisin and toffee notes, each sip takes on hints of spiced banana-walnut bread. Bursts of caramel, molasses, and dark fruit nuances swim through a medium-light and effervescent body. And the whole thing is balanced by a touch of hoppy bitterness that lingers well into the finish.

Missing entire front packaging on bottle. Complex notes of toffee, banana-walnut bread, molasses, caramel, rum-soaked raisins, dark fruit, and plenty of maltyness.
