Okay, so “The Raven” isn't about beer. But maybe if Poe had a can of Grandfather Raven he could of just, ya know, chilled out about the bird.

A phenomenal imperial stout to measure all others against if they aren’t Old Rasputin.

After reading the label I expected a good caramel/chocolate taste. It wasn’t there… which made the taste disappointing.

Pretty thin body. Sone chelate notes and very light roastiness. More of a porter than imperial stout.

other than the higher abv not sure why this is a Russian imperial as opposed to a ‘plain old’ stout. that said - it does go down easy. so in the words of Dr. Sheldon Cooper -“this is good, whatever it is “

I got the coffee flavor from the first sip. but no caramel. ABV doesn't smack you in the face either. 👍🏾

Need more instantly crushable brews on this app. Light, roasty, and decent abv. I don’t know it other people were looking for more depth of flavor but this is a straightforward stout.
