About This Beer
The team aged their Wee Heavy in American oak bourbon barrels, layering notes of wood and whiskey caramel onto the malty base.
Tasting Notes
Sticky toffee tones mingle notes of raisin, date, and fig in each wee dram. Currents of charred oak, leather, and smooth vanilla follow before the rich finish fades out on gentle hints of spice and a smooth, boozy warmth.

Deep reddish brown pour with a moderate head. Smell and taste are biscuit malt, caramel and bourbon. This is an excellent Scotch Ale - in fact, the best I’ve ever tasted.

Dark amber hue, smokey aroma with a hint of caramel, creamy tan head, sweet malt and bourbon flavors with oak and smoke notes, and a warming bourbon finish.

I love scotch ales and this is a great display. Lingering flavors, smooth as can be. Would be an excellent camping beer. Higher rating because dollar/flavor is hard to beat here

Toddy, dark chocolate, and figs on the nose. Rich, sweet, baking spice and barrel on the palate with a crème brûlée finish. Really nice New Years sipper.
