About This Beer
For this stunner, the NYC crew started with a classic Pils base brewed with Saaz and Hersbrucker Hops. Then they conditioned it in American oak for delicious complements of woody complexity.

Soft, bready nuances of honeyed biscuit dance with vibrant florals accentuated by subtle barrel tones. Flourishes of grass and earth sing throughout the swig before a refreshingly snappy finish.

Clean, crisp but the oak have it a great body. Crushable!

Yet again, the beers most like true Dortmunders always seem to be mislabeled as pilsners. This is like swanky DAB: plump, malty, with the distinctive bittersweet taste of an Export lager. Was it the oak that Dort-ified it? Maybe.

honey and cracker with a bit of hop bitterness. could use more of the floral and grass

Biscuity, honey-like, floral, and even some oak. Gorgeous-ass Pilsner.

would be a 4.25 if there was a bit of Foder on the nose. otherwise a wonderful Pils, crisp when pulling hard yet smooth when finishing.

Simple, yet elegant. A light noble hop aroma and some sweetness on the backend that really rounds out the crackery malt flavor. A slight hop bitterness leaves you wanting more.
