About This Beer
To craft Greetings From Belsnickel, the brewers started with a rich base of English Maris Otter, English caramel, and chocolate malts. Then they conditioned it on a pounder per barrel of Madagascar vanilla for a smooth, subtly sweet sip.
Tasting Notes
Deep, dark, cocoa-y aromas perfume the air with every pour. Creamy cascades of baker’s chocolate, burnt sugar, and silky custard course through the velvety quaff. Roasty espresso tones rise on the end, balancing the dessert tones like a Christmas gift-giver carrying presents in one hand and a switch in the other.

Nice chocolate notes with light sweetness from the vanilla. Stout base is lighter than expected.

Sweet, Smooth with notes of Chocolate and Vanilla

Pitch black with fairly active carbonation. Big roasted malt aroma and flavor with baker’s chocolate and cocoa notes; any vanilla is really subdued. Decent balance with light sweetness. Fairly light bodied for 12%; very airy but no real oxidized flavors.
