About This Beer
The Washington crew started by aging a rich, roasty Stout in select bourbon barrels, including Woodford Reserve Double Oaked, Wild Turkey, and Heaven Hill. After aging anywhere from 10 to 24 months, the brewers blended the barrels into one opulent brew.
Tasting Notes
Each decadent quaff courses with notes of dark mocha, whiskey caramel, and vanilla oak. Nuances of crème brûlée and charred oak emerge before a tannic, bourbon finish.
