A Note on This Beer
Big news, everyone! The maestros of Midwestern craft at Untitled Art paired up with the phenomenal Parish Brewing in Louisiana to make a new style of Imperial IPA!
Today’s Gulf Coast IIPA was inspired by Parish’s own Ghost in the Machine, a brew heralded as one of the top IPAs in the nation by the likes of Food & Wine. It combines the hop-forward qualities of that Louisiana Hazy with Untitled Art’s fruity flavor ingenuity.
The brewers craft it with orange-juicy Citra, peach-packed Wai-iti, and super-rare HORT 4337 Hops (a.k.a., Nectaron Hops). These New Zealand-grown hops are incredibly potent with tropical passion fruit and pineapple flavor, making them an ideal partner for the citrusy, stonefruity characteristics of Citra and Wai-iti.
When you put them all together in an 8.5% ABV IPA, you get a fruity hopbomb that’s neither New England or West Coast-style — it’s Gulf Coast, baby!
Sweet waves of passion fruit purée flavor flow alongside notes of apricot and mandarin on a smooth, malty backbone. A hint of candied grapefruit and zesty lime juice shines through to complement the mild, grassy dankness on the finish of every sip.
This isn’t your typical bitter West Coast, and it’s not your average juiced-up NEIPA; this quaffable collab is something entirely different. Are you ready to discover it for yourself?
