A Note on This Beer

Is the children’s song stuck in your head now, too? ‘Cause ever since my first sip of Gummy Shark Do Do Do Do Do Do, I’ve been acting worse than a 5-year-old who’s just heard it for the first time.

My wife’s getting super annoyed with me, too. Anytime she asks me a question all she gets back is “GUMMY SHARK, do do do do do do do! Gummy Shark, do do do do...”

I keep telling her, if she’s got a problem with it, she has to take it up with Listermann Brewing. They’re the ones who made this bangin’ Triple New England IPA with 300 lbs of real, tangy-sweet gummy shark candies and gave it this incredible name!

My wife might not like my constant singing, but we’re both crazy about this brew. The gummy sharks give the beer a hypnotic sea-blue appearance so intriguing, it’s practically begging to be tasted. And once you do, there’s no chance for disappointment.

Every sip boasts silky, citrus juiciness with a tinge of bitterness up front, just like a bold NE-style IPA ought to. But let that sip linger, and it transforms into a mouthful of blue raspberry-flavored gummy candies! And, with that 10.2% ABV kicking in after a few gulps, I bet you’ll see why I can’t hold back from chanting “Gummy Shark, do do do do do do…” all the time.

To heck with beer for grown-ups. I want more gummy candy juicebombs like this one, so my inner child will always have something to sing about!

See some negative reviews but I honestly have had much worse! This one honestly was better than I thought it would be. I just had to try it because it seemed crazy, but honestly I like it. I can taste the gummy sharks and it’s a refreshing slightly sweet IPA. I dig it!

Well executed triple IPA and really unique. Killer color. It's definitely not for everyone. Very sweet, and you almost can't even tell it's an IPA with little hop character. Probably wouldn't want to have again but an interesting one to say you've tried.

One hell of an IPA. Not the best tasting, the hoppy flavors don’t marry well with the sweet gummy flavors. It sure is an experience to say the least.

Exactly as advertised and I loved it. Don’t know what half of these reviewers were expecting from a greenish-bluish 10% beer brewed with blue gummy sharks but it delivered on all levels. It was on the sweet side but can’t complain about that lol. Drank both cans!

Bought this since my husband loves sharks and thought it’d be a fun surprise beer. Pleasantly surprised that it’s a nice fruity TIPA. Initially tastes just like a gummy shark, but warms up nicely into the bitterness of an IPA.

Wasn’t sure what to expect from this one but was pleasantly surprised. The candy flavor actually worked. Pretty sweet but still not overpowering with the amount of hops. Nice smooth mouthfeel too. Glad I tried it

I’m not an IPA fan. But this was pretty good for being triple hopped. The sweetness of the gummies really cut the bitterness and was really enjoyable.

This brew is exactly what is advertised! It's great for something to have once in a while, but I don't think I could make it a regular drink. Nice and juicy, but it's also pretty rich and sweet.

This imperial new England IPA runs 10.2% and pours a mesmerizing ocean turquoise-green! Amazing! This IPA is actually brewed with 300lbs of actual tangy green gummy shark candies! So fun to try this! There really is a silky, tangy citrusiness to this one with a finish that really does capture those sweet treat blue raspberry flavored gummies! Very cool and fun. It actually tastes great! Not in the sense that I'd like to pound a sixer in the sun about it, but it's definitely one worth exploring and enjoying with friends. This is exciting and great! "Baby shark do-do-do-do"! 💎💎💎💎💍
