A Note on This Beer
There are some combos that are destined for greatness: creamy milk in a freshly-brewed cup of coffee, cold craft beer after a long workday, and, of course, Barrier Brewing teaming up with Other Half!
See, Barrier has a track record for partnering with some of the top brew crews in the country, such as Grimm and Burial. So when they have a new collab release, Manhattan craft fans travel over an hour to the sleepy town of Oceanside for a chance to score a sip.
And now, these collab kings are joining forces with Other Half! This New York-based crew boasts a massive 4.23 UT brewery rating and scores higher than the masters at Mikkeller and Evil Twin!
In fact, beer geeks are so desperate to find Other Half brews, they offer up bottles from Trillium and Treehouse on trade forums in the hope of snagging a can!
And now is your chance to taste this beautiful union between two rockstar breweries with today’s Half & Half Imperial Milk Stout!
This dark n’ handsome brew tastes just like a creamy, rich mocha, but it’s spiked with an 8.8% ABV.
Using freshly-ground coffee beans from Stumptown Roasters, each sip rolls with roasty notes of artisan espresso. The addition of sweet lactose brings a creamy backbone, elevating notes of decadent milk chocolate and smooth vanilla.
As Shakespeare once wrote, “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.”
Well, we apologize for thrusting, but this is your chance to seize greatness from two East Coast powerhouse breweries! And you’d better grab your stash quick because this collab brew is impossible to find outside of New York.
