A Note on This Beer
There’s a pub I frequent in Seattle that focuses almost entirely on local beer (surprise!). They’ve got 16 different taps in constant rotation, so it’s a great place to try new stuff — like today’s ultra-Hazy, juicy Hazealicious IPA.
This baby is so hazealicious that as soon as I saw it, I knew I had to share it with all you hazeheads on Tavour.
Fresh off the canning line from the award-winners at Reuben’s Brews, now’s your chance to see why these guys were named one of the Top 10 Breweries in the Country at last year’s U.S. Open Beer Championship!
Hazealicious is so bright and hazy it looks like Minute Maid squeezed themselves a beer. Pour this brew into a glass, and for a moment you’ll swear you grabbed some kind of lemon-grapefruit juice instead of an IPA.
I know I did. Each pillowy sip drenched my palate in grapefruit, passion fruit and honeydew melon. Orange and lemon mixed with vanilla for a surprisingly creamy finish! And the super crushable 6% ABV had me craving another!
I did return to the pub later that week for more, but Hazealicious was already gone! The bartender actually told me she’d never seen a beer go so fast — a bunch of other customers had been asking where they could find it, too.
Reuben’s Brews don’t venture far beyond the Emerald City, so grab your Hazealicious cans now before the Seattle haze fiends drink up the entire stash!
