The people who make Nutella have really missed an opportunity — why don’t they just add booze to create the ultimate nutty-sweet treat?

Fortunately, the crew at Untitled Art, working with their friends at Mikerphone, have addressed this grievous oversight with today’s Hazelnut Imperial Stout. 

The brewers crafted this sweet sip with plenty of real hazelnuts, piles of cacao nibs, and a dollop of creamy milk sugar. It really does taste like something you’d drizzle on waffles for a decadent breakfast, with roasty coffee notes and a surprisingly sippable body.

They also gave it a massive 10.7% ABV! If you put this stuff on your waffles, you’d better be prepared for a post-brunch nap. 

Not that we’d really recommend sprinkling it over breakfast foods (although that would probably be delicious). This decadent brew is best enjoyed in a pint glass, alongside pancakes, steak, or a bowl of vanilla ice cream. 

Of course, if you are enjoying it with ice cream, we won’t blame you for dropping a splash of this nutty brew on top. We promise it will taste delicious. 

The 2021 Hazelnut Imperial Stout is too new for ratings, but every previous release has scored 4.2+ on Untappd!
