A Note on This Beer
Every time the craft legends at Fremont release a fresh batch of their Head Full of Dynomite NE-style IPA, their beer garden-style taproom spills over with hazeheads ready to load up their trunks with as many cases as the brewers are willing to part with.
But hey, I’m not surprised locals are going crazy for this hazy.
Considering its layers of juicy melon and stonefruit earned it the title of Best New England-style IPA in the Northwest by Sip Magazine, I’d hike my beer-loving butt over the river and through the woods any day to get a taste of this hazy brew.
And since finding this 4.01 BA-rated sipper outside the Pacific Northwest is practically impossible, I made sure to secure a tiny stash to share with you all.
Get your beer-buying thumbs ready cause I’m hooking you up with the hop juice Seattle hazeheads crave. Snag a couple of extra cans while you’re at it — because once you pop the top on this tropical quencher, you won’t want to stop sipping.
We’re not sure how Fremont manages to make each batch of Dynomite so crave-worthy, but today’s V.11 version — loaded with Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado, Simcoe Cryo Hops — has to be their most tropical and dank yet.
Take a sip and waves of overripe melon and tangy lime crash onto the palate. Notes of earthy berry, mango kush, and ruby red grapefruit swirl around hints of creamy papaya. A touch of resinous pine appears on the finish and gives way to a mouthfeel so dreamy and pillowy soft, you’ll never guess this hazy comes packed with a 6.8% ABV.
Better snag your cans fast, though, because if our members are anything like the thirsty Seattle masses, every last drop of this hazy brew will be gone faster than you can say, “Dy-no-mite!”
