About This Beer
Some fans describe it as Barleywine-like. But the brewer says, “in reality, Headzo probably has more in common with Port than beer. It’s carbonated very low, and I suggest you drink it at room temperature, or at the very most, red wine temperature. Headzo is great as a nightcap or an after-dinner digestif.”
Tasting Notes
It sings with notes of butterscotch, molasses, and dried dates. Aged in both port and bourbon barrels, whiskey oak and sweet plum nuances shine through on the pleasantly syrupy finish.

at 18.5% this drinks exceptionally smooth. boozy but not overpowering, I get a lot of honey and raisin flavors.

This drinks very similar to an English Barely wine. lots of toffee, raisin, date types of notes. Not a super full body but that isn't really an issue. No hints of how boozy it is on the pallet. should be illegal how smooth it is.
