Today’s Heart Strings Fruit Sour with strawberries, raspberries, and red currants is an exception — a taster size won’t do, you’ll want a full pour of this one. Or two!

The reason being, strawberry is an incredibly difficult flavor to highlight in a beer. That’s why you don’t see it used very often — those plump berries are mostly water, and it takes an exorbitant amount of fruit to produce bright flavor. 

So we’re sure stoked that the Fruit Beer-focused Urban Family took on the challenge. Not only did the brewery pack in enough strawberries to make a shortcake jealous, they also added jammy raspberries and tart red currants to amplify the strawberry notes. It tastes like biting into a mutant strawberry the size of a watermelon!
