About This Beer
Helles is a German-style Helles Lager crafted by the light beer experts at Heater Allen. To create it, the brewery adds its own twist to this Old-World style. Instead of muting the Hersbrucker Hops — as they do in Germany — the brewers allow the beautiful aromas and flavors of this complex hop to flow freely.

I wanted to try a quality example of a Helles Pale Lager, so I jumped on this one. Aroma is light, malty, with almost a grassy note, as well. Palate is crisp and bready, finish has a touch of sweetness to it. Very tasty.
