A Note on This Beer
Like the noble Pokémon, Cushwa Brewing is constantly evolving. The brewers’ ongoing exploration in process, ingredients, and techniques has earned them critical acclaim from folks like The Beer Thrillers, who call them “phenomenal and top notch.”
Showcasing the experimental hop variety HBC 472, High Hopes is an exploratory ode to that continuous evolution!
To craft it, the brewers fermented with their House Ale yeast strain. Then, they added Sabro Hops, sister of HBC 472, to enhance the coconut and tropical aromas while a smattering of Citra Hops rounds out the flavor profile.
Each sip sings with unique notes of vanilla and oak from HBC 472. A cascade of creamy coconut, tangy pineapple, bright citrus, and herbaceous pine swirls with a well-hidden 8% ABV.
Lusciously smooth, deliciously juicy, with a distinctive coconut anglaise flavor, High Hopes is an exemplary taste of HBC 472 Hops from an up-and-coming Haze icon.
But, with only 15 cases, you have only a fleeting chance to get in on the ground floor of this exciting new hop!
