About This Beer
It’s no secret that hipsters love coffee, especially fancy coffee, and this Imperial Stout has it. The folks at Wild Barrel added plenty of Libra proprietary blend cold brew, and then amped it up with real vanilla, like a boutique latte. And forget traditional sweeteners, the brewers balanced the roasty notes with 100% real maple syrup!
Tasting Notes
This one’s not just for hipsters — anyone can get lost in the rich mocha and dazzling maple flavors of this Stout! Fresh coffee aromas start things off, then your taste buds will tumble into maple-sweetened baker’s chocolate. The vanilla makes for a creamy smooth body that totally obscures the big 11.5% ABV.

very rich and not overly sweet. The coffee has some bitterness to it but the vanilla is a nice touch at the end to smooth it out.

a wonderful beer that I would recommend
to anyone that enjoys a good pastry stout. although it is an imperial stout
it is not harsh and goes down really smooth. I would get this again.

Getting bourbon notes which I wasn’t really expecting(I know, Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans). Not getting any vanilla, just bitterness from the cold brew, and the faintest trace of maple syrup. This would be better if I got anyany sweetness to it
