Fresh off becoming the Grand National Champion at the U.S. Beer Tasting Championship, Reuben’s Brews’ Hop Tropic IPA is making its bottle debut! Previously a superfruity crowd favorite only available on draft in Seattle, this is the first (and possibly only) time the award-winning Hop Tropic will appear in bottles, so now its tropical tones can finally be shared outside Washington.

Hopped with Citra, Amarillo, and Magnum Hops, layers of citrus zest and piney aromas glide from the glass like a hophead’s dream. The first sip will have you reeling with its tropical punch of passionfruit, guava, and tangerine. The second yields bright citrus acidity of lime and grapefruit rind with a touch of ripe, sweet oranges. The third brings it all together with a pleasant hop resin bitterness, and the fourth…wait, how is my glass already empty?! I gotta pour some more.

With a bevy of awards under their belt, Reuben’s is a heavy-hitting hop crafter. So if you can’t make it to their Seattle taproom, Hop Tropic is an excellent, tropically hopped introduction to why they’re a Northwest favorite.
