A Note on This Beer
Beers don’t get much more “local” than today’s Helles Lager.
Trophy Brewing worked with Perry Family Farm and Epiphany Craft Malt in North Carolina to craft this quaffable Helles with ingredients grown and malted mere miles from the Raleigh taproom!
Translation: the Winter 2-row Barley and Chit Malts they selected for this beer are seriously fresh. Every sip builds off of a smooth, caramelly foundation that’s cleaner and more flavorful than your average, run-of-the-mill grocery store Lager.
Trophy also finessed the brew with a dose of Lemondrop Hops to give it a noticeable kick of juicy melon flavor and a nice bite of lemon-lime citrus.
It’s an uber-crushable brew that tastes like something straight out of the pub in a small German village! It’s wonderfully bright, delightfully malty, and so dang refreshing.
You don’t always know what you’re getting into when you crack open a beer. But, with this hyper-local Helles, you can rest assured you’re sipping on something truly unique to the land it’s from.
