About This Beer
When Great Raft and Celestial Beerworks come together, it’s gonna be crazy good. By crafting the brew with Citra, Amarillo, and Strata Hops, on top of using hefty amounts of wheat and oats in the mash, the crew focused on creating sips as silky smooth as a llama-rabbit.
Tasting Notes
The flavors are as tropical and juicy as a strawberry-nectarine! Aromas of orange zest and strawberries rise from the pillowy head at the start. Juicy bursts of clementine and berry sweetness rise at the front of each sip, with the thick mouthfeel of a fresh squeezed OJ. The blissful sweetness remains throughout, completely masking that massive ABV.

I am not sure if something went wrong in shipment or if it’s a flaw in its creation or maybe even a quirk of my tastebuds, but this one had a harsh, astringent note I couldn’t get past to appreciate anything else it had to offer. It’s a pity I bought only one. I am not rating this because that’s unfair based upon one sample that may be flawed in a way that’s out of the brewer’s control.
