A Note on This Beer

With each silky slurp of today’s fresh-off-the-canning-line Ice Cream Paint Job Fruited Sour, I’m growing increasingly nostalgic. I feel like a kid, licking-up a melty double-scoop of raspberry sorbet and vanilla ice cream!

Divine Barrel crafts this brew with an incredible 500 lbs of lush raspberries, sweet cherries, and plump blueberries for bright layers of fruit juice. Then, they swirl in velvety vanilla and lactose for delectable flavors reminiscent of a mile-high mixed-berry sundae, topped with a dollop of whipped cream.

Flavors of fluffy marshmallow explode on the forefront of the palate. On the finish, berry tartness lingers, pulling you in for another lick, er… sip!

Just be careful not to slurp this delight too fast. It goes down quicker than a milkshake, and us ice cream enthusiasts know just how painful a brain-freeze can be!

Wife says: Flat and a little less tart than I like it, but overall pretty good. My take: Creamy with hints of vanilla on the original sip, but finishes pretty light. All that being said very good beer that is perfect to drink at any time!

Honestly thought this one would be better. Not at all what I thought. It’s not bad by any means but not as packed with flavor as expected. The most prominent flavor is probably the vanilla.

Tasted exactly like I imagined. Delicious, tart, and I’m literally saving one until I get a good enough vanilla ice cream to pour part of this over. It’s divine.
