About This Beer
For me, it’s not officially fall until I get a sip of Taxman’s autumnal Biere de Garde Deffalt. And this year, the crew whipped up something extra special with their bigger, bolder Imperial version!
To craft this incredible harvest season treat, they started with an Amber base brewed with wildflower honey and cinnamon. Then, they aged it on toasted maple and Amburana oak spirals, playing up the bright baking spice.
Tasting Notes
Rich malty sweetness swirls through each sip, with smacks of cinnamon and vanilla coursing through to the finish. Subtle oaky nuances add a gorgeous complexity that lingers on the palate, concealing the bold 9% ABV.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark amber pour, spotty head. Sweet aroma, honey, cinnamon, rum. Taste brings oodles of savory notes from the amburana, honey, caramel, cinnamon. Really luscious, creamy. Unexpected pleasure.
