About This Beer
To make it, the dark beer lords at Firestone Walker made a few updates to their classic recipe, introducing a hint of beechwood-smoked malt and then letting it age for an entire year in eight-year-old bourbon barrels.
Tasting Notes
Rich and roasty malts course through the sip, with delightful accents of dark chocolate deepening the flavor. Whispers of smoke and barrel char round out the finish, while the 11.5% ABV brings just the right amount of heat.

Really tasty. Deep flavor with some smoke in there. Not as top tier as other Firestone Walker Vintage brews, but still super solid.

Bottle from Tavour. Dark brown pour, ring of beige head. Light smoky aroma, roasty. Taste is smoky, roasty, sweet, woody, nutty. Very full.

Very smoky! Overwhelms other flavors a bit. BA is very mild.

Campfire aroma with Bourbon notes, creamy head, smoked malt taste with hints of oak and sweetness, and a warming alcohol finish.
