A Note on This Beer
Today’s complex, luxurious sipper is what’s known as a “Melomel” — the term used for a Mead with added fruits. Who better to craft a boozy, honey-drizzled fruit basket like this than the award winners* at Moonlight Meadery?
To make it, the New Hampshire crew added blueberries, black cherries, and black currants to their succulent honey wine.
Then, they took that base and aged it for up to six months in American Port Wine barrels, upping the ante with bold notes of charred oak, vanilla, and caramel on the backend of the midnight blue glass, filled with juicy blasts of fruity flavors!
The deep and dynamic flavors bounce off each other, swirling with a belly-warming, boozy heat from its 14% ABV!
Join us at the dessert table and bask in the glow of this decadent delight. And hurry! With less than 180 bottles, there’s only so much mouthwatering, honey-drizzled fruit to go around.
Moonlight Meadery is one of the most awarded Meaderies in the world, most recently winning 5 of a possible 9 medals at the San Diego International beer competition!
