About This Beer
The Evil Twin NYC crew started with a crispy Helles brewed with smoked malts. Then set it ablaze by conditioning it on habanero peppers!
Tasting Notes
The sip starts out smooth and malty, with biscuity notes of fresh baked baguette merging with hints of wildflower honey. A gentle smoke shimmers just below the surface, while tongue-tingling blasts of spice rise on the palate following the cracker-crisp finish.

Oh! NOT just a rauchbier...one conditioned on habanero!! Wow dog, you just blew my mind! This beer gently cauterizes your mouth parts while blowing a little smoke down your helles hole. Drink up!!

From the start, the scent is smoke and peppers. You get a kiss of that smoke in the beginning (not aggressive but present), followed by the sweetness of the helles. Finally, the habanero pepper kicks up in the tail. Nice trip, EvilTwin

Evil Twin canned the beer TWICE. Impossible to open without pliers ripping open the side like I’m 19 shotgunning a beer. Spicy, smoky, surprisingly still had a decent balance and body.
