Nose of coffee & chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, but not thick. On the palate, roasty, chocolate, coffee & peanut butter. All quite noticeable, but nothing overbearing. Good stuff.

12oz can from Tavour. While coffee is not my favorite adjunct, I trust Hoppin' Frog wholeheartedly, and I'm not disappointed. Dark brown pour with a wispy tan head. Aroma is heavy on the chocolate, deep, rich, exquisite. Taste is more of the sumptuous chocolate, light bitter, roasty coffee notes backing it up. Wow! Excellent from start to finish and we'll worth the high accolades.

Bought this one as I loved the peanut butter chocolate cake made by this brewery. And I wasn’t let down by this beer at all Thicker, full of flavours of chocolate and light peanut butter hints Enjoyed this one

One of the best peanut flavored beer I have had. Very balanced flavors and easy to drink.

I can’t believe how this is a porter. So much flavor and depth.

Ordered from Tavour in a 12 ounce can, chilled, and poured into a pint glass.
Look: Dark brown, almost black, with a two finger light tan head that dissipated leaving a nice ring and thin layer of foam lingering.
Smell: Sweet day old coffee, peanut butter and chocolate mixed with dark roasted coffee notes.
Taste: Bitter sweet coffee up front followed by trailing light old coffee flavor, chocolate in the nose and trailing peanut butter. The bitter hangs around a while. No booze.
Feel: Medium body, smooth mouthfeel with a light tickle of carbonation that didn’t hang as it warmed.
Overall this is a nice sipping porter. Porters are difficult to find in our area. Most everyone has IPAs and Stouts and so this was a nice find. I would drink this again if I could.
Cheers!

More coffee than peanut butter, but still a good porter.

Was hoping for a bit more peanut butter, but still super smooth and wonderful! I picked up two so my brother could enjoy one too and he said it was one of the best porters he's had! Would definitely recommend.

I want more peanut butter. This was a nice roasty porter but lacking on its infusion.

Wonderful coffee flavor compliments the porter nicely

Absolutely nailed all three flavors! In particular, the chocolate came through strong and I’m a big fan of the coffee flavor at the finish

Lots of coffee on the nose. Smooth and creamy but not overly thick. Roasted coffee and malt on the palate with a slight hint of peanut butter.

Like a smooth cup of joe on a Sunday morning, nestled with some chocolate notes tucked in a soft pillow of peanut butter. Well that’s what I wanted to say anyways but chugged the damn thing too fast to notice. I’m sure it was all of that tho

Heavy coffee taste, not picking up peanut butter like I expected, but was hoping for more from a porter.

Lighter porter, less coffee then one expects on the nose.

Smooth. Good coffee taste. Chocolate on the nose when you take a sip. Peanut butter is subtle. Overall a good beer.

Very nice roasty malts blend well with the coffee. Peanut butter is not discernible.

coffee stronger than PB

weak coffee flavor with cocoa aroma.

Surprisingly, not too strong on the coffee end and perfect balance of peanut butter and other flavors.
4.0
Peanut butter aroma with a blast of coffee and a hint of dark chocolate, rich cocoa taste and loads of coffee, thin mouthfeel, almost seems like a coffee shandy.
3.25
very strong coffee flavor with a nice kiss of PB and chocolate.
4.5
The nuttiness stands out and does not overwhelm the cocoa, but the real winner here is the base beer. The frog always satisfies.

Pretty damn tasty. Nice viscosity. Peanut butter didn’t overwhelm. Wish I bought two cans.

Big PB aroma with roasty chocolate in the background. The taste is filled with coffee and dark chocolate. The nuttiness rises as the beer warms.

Peanut Butter, coffee, chocolate, yum!!

More peanut butter in aroma than flavor. Good balance of PB, roasted malt, chocolate and light coffee character. Medium to light bodied. 🇺🇸🇮🇱
