About This Beer

The craft geniuses at Bottle Logic got inspired by one of their favorite ice cream flavors, rocky road, and then totally ran with it!

First, they aged a gorgeous lactose-laden base stout in bourbon barrels. Then, they added decadent Guatemalan cacao nibs, sliced almonds, chopped walnuts, and nearly 200 lbs of jet-puffed marshmallows!

Tasting Notes

Each sumptuous sip is like a cup of melty rocky road ice cream, but with a boozy 14.2% ABV kick. Tantalizing notes of fudge cascade into toasted mallow, while a kiss of whiskey and oak spice adds a lovely complexity to the backend. A nutty, malty backbone carries these decadent flavors through to a thick and velvety finish. The only thing missing is the waffle cone!

This is a wonderfully balanced stout; however, I’m not a big fan of the flavor “rocky road”. If you are, then this may be the best rocky road flavored option out there.

Good heavy stout. Boozy upfront but has an almost creamy mouthfeel. Theres some chocolate notes in there, and the sweetness balances everything pretty well.
