About This Beer
The brewers first created a sticky-thick Belgian Quad base brewed with candi sugar. Then they aged it in French Caribbean Rum Barrels for nuances of oaky vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
Tasting Notes
This Rum Barrel-Aged brew is just the thing for dreaming about the islands. Its notes of coconut and banana from Belgian yeast inspire visions of white sand and swaying palms, while the 13.4% ABV and flavors of coffee, caramel, and candied dates will keep things feeling cozy. And after four years in Drake’s cellar, this bottle is smoother and more lucious than ever!

Exceptionally smooth, with the notable sweet smokiness from the rum barrels. Definitely a keeper, and a sipper!

The rum was just a little too strong, it was all I could taste. Hard to enjoy.

I have always been a fan of rum barreled quads, and this was better than most. Denser, more viscous, notes of molasses, coffee, booze, banana bread and coconut. Yum!

This is smooth from beginning to end. The rum leaves a very nice tingling burn on the tongue. A six pack of these and a day at the beach, I’m in. More please

if you’re a fan of Rum this is the beer for you. I’ve had a few different styles of beer aged in rum barrels and the rum is usually very subtle too nonexistent but a Belgian quadruple really helps bring the rum forward…very tasty!
