Thiols ftw

Tropical citrus up front, smooth middle and overall well rounded flavor. Slightly sweet with a pithy finish, however not overly abrasive. Waves of hop bitterness with a crisp clean finish that doesn’t linger on the pallet. Packed with hoppy goodness for 6.4% ABV. Another incredible brew by Anchorage.

above average for sure. very solid ipa with a good balance - but nothing mind bending for me personally. anchorage usually has much stronger showings so a bit let down for my high expectations. still have yet to taste a real meh beer from anchorage though.

simply perfection

what an odd beer. good, but strange. superficially the nose gives off fruit punch, a bit of lychee and passion fruit. but spend some time with it… I swear to god it smells like crushed up Smarties, grape in particular. palate gives a similar powdery, astringent candy taste but (oddly) without the sweetness. then I notice a light grape-like flavor paired with a prominent vegetal flavor that I just can’t place or find a good description for…. may sound off-putting but it’s not. it’s a really good beer. phantasm powder and all these thiol-maximizing techniques just create unique flavor profiles.

Soft and citrusy. Buy it for the dope can art alone.

fruity and refreshing

strong tropical aromas, flavors followed the nose. very little bitterness but had an extremely oily mouthfeel that detracted from the good parts of the beer.

The phantasm powder always seems to have the same sharp taste to it. It doesn’t detract from this beer. Velvety smooth and juicy.

Takes me back to my first dive bar experience. Of a dank, weedy IPA on draft that brought together all the vibes of the place and shoved it unpretentiously down my gillet in a mildly musty mosaic of hops and amber dankness. Finished fruity with hints of grapefruit and slightly sodden crimson carpeting. Crispy.

do they make a beer that isn’t tasty? I’ve loved each one I’ve got my hands on.

Nice tropical notes on the nose. Really tasty.

Daily corona battle. NIT edition. Because apparently the regular season and SEC tourney meant nothing 😡. But this is delish. Citrus and melon sweetness, crazy flavorful and smooth. Just so anchorage good with plenty of grapefruit and melon.

First Anchorage I’ve had, immediately a fan. Clean and crisp. I’ll be back for more.

Citrusy and a tad sweet, this drinks pretty smooth with only a little hoppiness on the end. I like it a lot.

Brewed with Citra Incognito, Fermented with the Thiol Boosting Omega Cosmic Punch Yeast, and DDH with Phantasm Powder, Nelson Sauvin, and Mosaic Cry Hops

Smells and tastes amazing. Very crushable!
