A Note on This Beer

My obsession with Great Notion rivals my 1980 infatuation with Duran Duran. It’s downright out of hand.

Although, you can only earn the title of one of Thrillist’s Hottest Breweries to Drink at Right Now if you’re pretty dang incredible.

The skilled brewers pack each bright batch of today’s Jammy Pants Fruited Sour with obscene amounts of tart raspberry, sweet cherry, and lip-puckering lime purée. Sip after sip, swells of zesty citrus jive alongside gusts of sweet n’ smooth berry jam.

Great Notion’s enthusiastic fruit fans are stammering with pleasure over the deliciousness of this brew: “So thick… juicy… AH, delicious!” And, I’m sure they’re Hungry Like the Wolf for more.

Quite tart, almost dry. Cherry and lime come through strongly, finishing with notes of raspberry. Just a really excellent beer.
